Hello,
my name is Kora Turner, an aspiring designer from all over the US.
I have always been drawn to creating work that impacts other—work that makes people take a moment to feel, to think. From my years of experience as a camp counselor, as well as personal harships, it has allowed me to take a deeper look into the minds of others. The ability to connect people mentally and emotionally. To allow people to be vulnerable and comfortable with themselves and others. These ideas stem from the importance of mental health and connections between people.
My minor in Graphic Communications Management has led me to work relating to mass printing and packaging. I focus on methods of designingjournals, games, and design work with emotional interactions that can be mass-produced and shared. My design research explores how mental health and connections can be impactful to not only young women and girls, but also everyone else.
